Vintage Retractable Bamboo Prescolite Kitchen Ceiling Light Fixture UFO MCM Saucer Drop Pull Down

This is a great vintage light! Rattan or bamboo shade, drop down retractable style with brass fittings, all in very good condition! Brass looks nice and shiny, minor to no wear. The bamboo shade has very small flaws, a couple of tiny bits of bamboo on the edge are chipped and some very tiny paint dots - which actually show more on the photo than they do when you look at it. White milk glass diffuser shade at the bottom. This can be turned on with a switch on the top which is three way, one bulb, the other bulb then both. You could put in 2 different wattages of bulbs and have a three way look with this. Also, 60 watts each would be best, but using LED bulbs with higher wattage could make it very bright since they put out very little heat (and take very little energy as well!). Measures 18" across the shade, with a drop down of 23" to 61". Prescolite is a really great vintage brand name. Includes all mounting hardware, ready to install when received. Our items come from antique stores and auctions, many times we do not know the origin of our lights so some parts may be contemporary while some parts are very antique. Beautiful addition to your 50s or 60s MCM kitchen remodeling project!
